LIFELINE MALAWI
This is a journey...it begins with a simple story. A story about two brothers.
An older brother that held a watchful eye over the younger. A little brother
that looked up to the eldest with admiration.
My name is Michael. When my older brother MJ passed away, life
changed. Words cannot express how thankful I am to have had so many
wonderful years with him.
Thank you MJ...for seeing the best in people, for challenging the world to
become better, for teaching us the importance of a compassionate heart,
for always looking out for your little brother.
The goal, raising $100,000 for two great causes.
Calgary Humane Society. For the late MJ Popp.
Who loved his dog Rickard! You always held my hand
when I needed it, you always had my back.
“May every animal in the world find a loving home they need and deserve.”
Lifeline Malawi. For Dr. Christopher Brooks…you always had the time to treat a young boy no matter what the ailment. Never was a runny nose nor a sore throat overlooked and not treated with care and compassion.
“Thank you Chris and Heather for your inspiration! Thank you for leading by example.”
The dream, crossing the Northumberland Strait! I will be walking into chilly waters the morning of August 10th, 2016 and will swim the Northumberland Strait from New Brunswick to PEI. The successful crossing will be completed without the aid of a wetsuit.
It all begins here!
“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”
